Smoky Meatballs
This is a delicious appetizer for carnivores and a bed temptation for vegetarians. It's hard to resist a sweet sauce with onions!

- 1 egg
- 5 ounce(s) evaporated milk
- 1 cup(s) quick oats
- 1/2 cup(s) finely chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) liquid smoke
- 2 cup(s) ketchup; sauce
- 1 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar; sauce
- 1/2 cup(s) finely chopped onions; sauce
- 1 teaspoon(s) liquid smoke; sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder; sauce
Mix ingredients for meatballs.
Shape into small, 1-inch balls.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
Drain.
Mix sauce ingredients together in a saucepan.
Cook on medium low till sugar dissolves and place meatballs in crock-pot.
Add sauce.
Cook on low for 4 hours or until onion is tender.
Ready in 4 hours.
