Why not get your day off to a rocky start? This homemade candy combines chocolate, peanuts are marshmallows to put store-bought sweets to shame. Raise the bar on desserts by taking a few minutes to prepare these sweet treats.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup(s) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ounce(s) square unsweetened baking chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 1/4 confectioners powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 2 cup(s) salted peanuts
  • 2 cup(s) miniature marshmallows

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate and butter, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • In a large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  • Beat in sugar, salt and vanilla until smooth and thick.
  • Beat in chocolate mixture.
  • Fold in peanuts and marshmallows.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper lined trays.
  • Chill in refrigerator 2 hours, until firm.
  • Keep refrigerated until serving.
  • Ready in 2 hours 35 min.
