- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup(s) butter, melted and cooled
- 1 cup(s) flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
- 1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 2 cup(s) baking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) pecans, chopped coarsely
- 1/2 cup(s) golden raisins
Cream the sugar, butter and egg.
Mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, vanilla, apples, pecans, and raisins; mix together well with the creamed mixture.
Pour the batter into a round pie dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the cake is done and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean, not doughy.
