Raspberry Cream Dip

This recipe is a cream come true. Our spread is a step above the rest. An enticing appetizer, serve with your favorite crackers. It's the perfect way to get the party -- or any other special event -- started.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounce(s) pkg. cream cheese
  • 5 smoked almonds
  • 1 cup(s) raspberry preserves
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) raspberry vinegar
  • 1 crackers

Instructions
 

  • Place cream cheese in center of serving platter.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut 4 lengthwise slits in cream cheese, equally spaced, approximately halfway down the block of cream cheese, cutting all the way through the block of cream cheese.
  • Using your hands, shape five "fingers" from the cut sections of the cream cheese.
  • Round off opposite end of block of cream cheese to resemble palm.
  • Place smoked almonds at the tip of each finger to resemble fingernails.
  • In a small bowl, stir together raspberry preserves, adobe sauce, and raspberry vinegar.
  • Pour raspberry mixture over palm end of cream cheese.
  • Serve with wheat.
