Quick Rice & Peas
Instant rice and canned peas take a great deal of this busy work out of this quick dish. It's the ideal side dish for just about any protein staple. You can't go wrong.

- 1 33/100 cup(s) chicken stock
- 1 33/100 cup(s) canned sweet peas
- 1 cup(s) instant rice
- 1 cup(s) frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1/4 cup(s) slivered almonds
Combine stock, peas and spinach in a saucepan over medium high heat.
Boil 3 minutes.
Stir in rice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover pan, remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes.
Add butter and fluff with a fork.
Sprinkle with almonds before serving.
