One-Dozen Eggs Breakfast Casserole

Twelve eggs come together in one terrific breakfast casserole. If ham isn't your thing, substitute bacon, sausage or even mushrooms that'll do the job just as well.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) butter
  • 12 eggs
  • 6 cup(s) frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 3 cup(s) Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 16 ounce(s) ham, diced
  • 8 tablespoon(s) chives or green onions, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Spray a 9 x 12 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Melt the butter and drizzle in the bottom of the pan.
  • Layer the frozen hash browns evenly to cover the bottom of the pan.
  • In a large bowl mix the eggs, cheese, milk and ham.
  • Pour egg mixture over the hash browns.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hour or until set.
  • The chives can be added with the eggs beforehand or sprinkled on top afterwards.
