Mexican Chocolate Rice Crispy Treats

Here's a great twist on regular rice crispy treats. A few delicious additions give the snack a Mexican flair. Serve them at your next fiesta and say "Ole'!"

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup(s) low-fat butter
  • 10 ounce(s) regular marshmallows or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 5 1/2 cup(s) chocolate rice crispies cereal
  • 1 cup(s) broken pecan pieces

Instructions
 

  • Spray a 9x13 glass pan generously with butter-flavored spray.
  • Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat.
  • Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in cinnamon and vanilla.
  • Add Rice Krispies, cereal and pecans.
  • Stir until well coated.
  • Press mixture into pan with a sheet of waxed paper or a greased spoon.
  • Let cool and slice into squares with a greased knife.
