Low Sodium Strawberry & Spinach Salad
Popeye ate all his spinach, and so will your children when they taste this gourmet salad prepared with a scrumptious strawberry twist. Go green tonight!

- 2 tablespoon(s) sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon(s) poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup(s) white sugar
- 1/2 cup(s) olive oil
- 1/4 cup(s) distilled white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon(s) minced onion
- 1 10 oz. fresh spinach - rinsed, dried and torn into bite-size pieces
- 4 cup(s) strawberries - cleaned, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup(s) pecans, blanched and slivered
In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and onion.
Cover, and chill for one hour.
In a large bowl, combine the spinach, strawberries and pecans.
Pour dressing over salad, and toss.
Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
Ready in 1 hour and 10 min.
