Leftover Turkey Dish

Gotta love those leftovers! This gravy-like meal will put your leftovers to good use. Give it a try served over hot rolls or biscuits for a hearty twist on comfort food.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 33/100 tablespoon(s) minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon(s) green pepper
  • 1/2 cup(s) sliced celery
  • 16 ounce(s) chopped turkey
  • 1 can Healthy Request cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 8 ounce(s) skim milk
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper

Instructions
 

  • Brown onion, green pepper, and celery in butter in heavy skillet.
  • Simmer about 5 minutes, then add turkey, soup, milk, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Simmer 20 minutes, stirring once in a while.
  • The dish may be served on hot biscuits, rolls, toast or buns.
