Healthy Potato Soup

Soup is good food, especially this potato soup. It's got gourmet taste without all of the fancy and fattening ingredients. Make a batch in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup(s) chopped onion (1 medium)
  • 4 1/2 cup(s) potatoes, peeled & diced
  • 1 tablespoon(s) margarine
  • 9/50 cup(s) flour
  • 4 cup(s) low fat milk

Instructions
 

  • Place onions and potatoes in sauce pan.
  • Cover with water and bring to boil.
  • Simmer until soft, about 10 minutes.
  • Drain.
  • Melt margarine in saucepan.
  • Add flour and stir until smooth.
  • Heat to thicken.
  • Add onions and potatoes to milk mixture, and heat to serving temperature.
  • Salt & pepper to taste.
