Oat what a feeling! This hot breakfast is a great way for you to blow off steam first thing in the morning. Prepared with sugar, spice and everything nice, the palate-pleasing porridge is rich in nutrients and great taste.

- 3 cup(s) water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 2 cup(s) old fashioned oatmeal
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup(s) milk
- 1/4 cup(s) dark molasses
- 3 tablespoon(s) maple syrup
- 1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tablespoon(s) ground ginger
- 1/4 pound(s) golden raisins
- 1/4 cup(s) chopped walnuts
Lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla yogurt for accompaniment Heat water and salt until boiling.
Add oatmeal and cook for 5 minutes.
Cool.
Combine next 10 ingredients and add to oatmeal.
Pour into a greased 9 inch square baking pan and bake, uncovered, in preheated 350 degrees oven for 2 hours.
Serve hot topped with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla yogurt.
