You won't have to go fishing for compliments with this recipe. One might assume that fish and pork don't mix -- until they give this appetizing chowder a try. The potatoes and onions add an even better texture to the meal. Oink you glad you gave it a try.

  • 2 cup(s) sliced potatoes
  • 1 cup(s) finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 pound(s) salt pork
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) salt
  • 2 cup(s) boiling water
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 1 dash(es) pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add diced fish, potatoes and onions to pork.
  • Add salt and water.
  • Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add milk and simmer 8 minutes.
  • Pepper to taste.
  • Ready in 50 min.
