Creamy Guacamole
Guacamole is a healthy, tasty dip for parties, or it can be used as a sandwich spread as an alternative to mayo. The secret ingredient in this recipe, sour cream, adds flavor and helps keep your guac green. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies.

- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup(s) finely chopped sweet white onion
- 1 Juice of one lime
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tablespoon(s) sour cream
- 2 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1 dash(es) ground pepper
Marinate the garlic and onion in lime juice for 10 minutes.
Add avocados and mash with a fork until texture is medium-smooth.
You may also use a pastry blender.
Mix in sour cream, cilantro, and salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
For a raw and vegan option, just leave out the sour cream.
Plain yogurt can also be used in place of sour cream.
