Cool Eggnog

Eggnog just got cooler. It's hard to find eggnog outside the holiday season, which is why we've provided a recipe that you can make and celebrate all year round. Rock your own homemade version.

Ingredients
  

  • 24 teaspoon(s) caster sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 ounce(s) pure cream (thin)
  • 6 ounce(s) milk
  • 3 ounce(s) brandy
  • 3 ounce(s) rum
  • 3 ounce(s) sweet sherry
  • 1 ice cubes
  • 6/25 teaspoon(s) Freshly ground nutmeg, to dust

Instructions
 

  • Place sugar and cinnamon quills in a saucepan with 1/2 cup cold water.
  • Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Simmer for 1 minute, then remove and cool.
  • Combine 3 oz of the syrup in a blender with the eggs, cream, milk and alcohol.
  • Pour into cocktail glasses over ice and serve dusted with nutmeg.
  • Ready in 10 min.
