Ingredients
  

  • 3 cup(s) chick peas
  • 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) ground ginger
  • 3 cup(s) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 lime, juiced

Instructions
 

  • Chop onion and garlic and cook in oil.
  • Add spices and cook until fragrant; add chick peas and tomato sauce, 1 1/2 c.
  • water and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Stir in lime juice.
  • Serve over rice with lowfat plain yogurt as garnish.
