Chickpea Curry

- 3 cup(s) chick peas
- 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 dash(es) salt
- 1 dash(es) pepper
- 1 tablespoon(s) curry powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) ground ginger
- 3 cup(s) tomato sauce
- 1/2 lime, juiced
Chop onion and garlic and cook in oil.
Add spices and cook until fragrant; add chick peas and tomato sauce, 1 1/2 c.
water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 8 to 10 minutes.
Stir in lime juice.
Serve over rice with lowfat plain yogurt as garnish.
