Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/4 cup(s) sifted cake flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cup(s) buttermilk
  • 2 sticks of butter

Instructions
 

  • Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Beat eggs and buttermilk until well mixed.
  • Add to flour mixture and beat lightly with a fork until flour is moistened.
  • Stir in the butter.
  • The batter should be lumpy.
  • Over mixing will produce tough waffles.
  • Bake until golden brown and serve warm.
