Beef Meatballs Sub
Who doesn't love a good meatball?! This recipe is perfect for a hearty lunch or switch out the rolls for pasta and you have a delicious homemade dinner that will have everyone saying, "That's amore!"

- 48 ounce(s) ground beef
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
- 1 teaspoon(s) Italian seasoning, to taste
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash black pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
- 33/100 cup(s) italian style breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 5 cans tomato sauce
- 1 cup(s) mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 8 Italian rolls
In a large bowl, beat egg and add ground beef, seasonings, tomato paste and some breadcrumbs.
Mix together well.
Add more seasonings and breadcrumbs if needed.
Form mixture into bite-size meatballs and place them in a large saucepan.
Cook the meatballs slowly, turning frequently so they brown evenly.
While the meatballs cook, pour the tomato sauce or pizza sauce into a crock-pot or other large pot.
If you're using tomato sauce, you'll need to add Italian seasonings and salt, pepper and garlic.
Use enough sauce to cover the meatballs.
Begin heating the sauce.
When the meatballs are done, place them in the sauce.
After the sauce is hot, serve on rolls with shredded mozzarella.
