Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup(s) sifted flour
  • 3 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 32 ounce(s) round steak, 1 inch thick (2 lbs)
  • 1 1/2 ounce(s) fat (3 tbsp.)
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 cup(s) tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, salt and pepper and pound into steak with tenderizer or potato masher; brown in fat in heavy skillet.
  • Add onions to tomatoes.
  • Boil 5 minutes.
  • Pour over steak.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
  • Ready in 2 hours.
