- 8 tablespoon(s) black molasses
- 1/4 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) lard or butter
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 6 cup(s) hot milk
Mix ingredients thoroughly with half of the milk and bake in a very hot oven until mixture boils.
Then stir in the remaining hot milk and bake in a well-greased stone slow cooker at a low temperature for 5 to 7 hours.
