Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cup(s) flour, unbleached and unsifted
  • 2 teaspoon(s) sugar
  • 4 eggs, large, beaten
  • 1/2 cup(s) skim milk
  • 2 cup(s) apple, sliced
  • 6 tablespoon(s) unsalted butter
  • 6 teaspoon(s) sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Prepare skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium heat until hot.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.
  • In another mixing bowl, combine apples, milk, egg whites, sour cream, and sugar.
  • Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened.
  • Ladle in the batter, using two or more tablespoons per cake.
  • Cook for two minutes, then flip carefully and cook for two minutes more.
