An oriental flavored rice with a tantalizing fresh flavor is a great side for any Asian inspired dinner plate. Instead of ordinary fried rice, add some pineapple to recreate this classic side.

Put vegetable oil and butter in a medium-hot saucepan. When melted together, add all ngredients except rice and pineapple. Sauté until cooked, about 3 minutes. Add rice; cook 1 more minute. Put mixture in pineapple and serve.
