Shrimp Cilantro

Although a white fish entree can stand on its own, this scrumptious shrimp cilantro makes a great complimentary dish.


Shrimp Cilantro

Ingredients

For 2 people

  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, fine chop
  • 10 medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoon(s) snipped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into slices
  • 1 Baked white fish

Directions

Heat butter and olive oil in sauté pan; add onion and garlic. Cook and stir until tender. Add shrimp; cook 1 minute. Turn shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes longer. Do not overcook. Remove shrimp to serving dish and sprinkle with cilantro. Pour pan juices over shrimp. Serve with lime slices and baked white fish, such as tilapia.
