Pineapple BBQ Ribs

You'll savor every bite of these crockpot country-style ribs, especially if you let them marinate overnight for best results. Pineapple juice gives a sweet and tangy taste to these pork ribs that will have you never making them any other way.


Pineapple BBQ Ribs

Ingredients

For 8 people

  • 64 ounce(s) spare ribs country style
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 floz red wine
  • 1/2 cup(s) cider vinegar
  • 2 cup(s) Barbecue sauce prepared
  • 1 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1 cup(s) pineapple juice

Directions

Trim and discard excess fat from ribs. Put meat in an 8 qt. pan and add water to barely cover, and then add vinegar. Cover and bring to boil over high heat; reduce heat and boil gently for 20 minutes. Drain ribs and arrange in an 11 X 13 inch pan. Combine all other ingredients and brush evenly over ribs. Cover and chill for 2 to 4 hours or overnight. Turn ribs several times. After marinated, place on BBQ grill and cook 20 to 40 minutes until well done and glazed. Continue to turn and brush with sauce.
