Kill the overhead lights - replace harsh lighting with dimmers or small lamps throughout the room that elicit a warm glow instead of a harsh glare. How are you in bed? Seriously - what does your bed feel like? Take a look at the size - if it's any smaller than a queen size, then you and your lover might get cramped. Is it comfortable? Mattresses have a life of about 10 years, so if it's been longer, then why not treat yourself - and your bed mate - to a comfortable, supportive mattress? Your bedding should be soft and breathable. Silk sheets are the best for keeping you cool and comfortable - and wicking away any moisture, if you know what we mean. Go for clean, delicate colors and add pretty pops of color around the room. An accent wall in a fiery brick red is sure to get your hearts pumping. Keep clutter to a minimum by strategically placing pretty baskets, ottomans and other storage areas around the room. Next thing you know, you'll have a room where your lover will want to stay!
