Know best? Father apparently didn't know anything. Jon Voight was completely in the dark about daughter Angelina Jolie's double mastectomy until the 38-year-old actress went public with her story. It may have taken three years, but former reality star Jon Gosselin is finally admitting to being a first-class d-bag. Well, sort of. The original Octodad admits to People that he did ex-wife Kate Gosselin wrong. Now, he's issuing a very public apology to the mother of his children. Jon tells People, "I am sorry, because I did stuff I wouldn't want done to me." On the list of infractions was dating a slew of much younger women long before his divorce was even final. The 35-year-old admits that he definitely played a part in their bitter break-up. He says, "I was passive-aggressive. Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating." But now the TLC has-been is determined to let bygones be bygones. Jon reveals that he and Kate are now getting along smashingly. He explains, "I'll call [Kate] up and say, 'Mady's sick. What do I do?' And she'll tell me. She's a great Mom. We just have different parenting styles." It seems like just yesterday the exes were engaged in a bitter Twitter war (it was actually a couple of months back). My, how the times have changed. It sounds good enough to be the plot for a new reality show, which probably would be music to both parties ears since they have both been forced to make much lower-paying gigs since their 15 minutes of fame expired. After a stint in the construction industry, Jon is now apparently working as the director of sales and promotions for Gameface Inc. He also has a new lady friend who has a handful of kids herself. When it's all said and done, Jon says he would return to the limelight if the job was right. Supposedly, his standards are way higher these days. He says, "I've been offered a lot of stuff. Crazy stuff. It wasn't the right fit, then or now. I don't want [my kids] thinking I take every show just to make a buck." We smell a spin-off in the works.
