i have something similar to a brazilian straightening in my hair, not sure of the name, put in same way, but not as smokey, and hair not streatched where it hurts, and it can be painful. It lasts 6 to 8 months, and depending where you go,it can run $150 to $300 and does not include a haircut. I do it once a year, and love it.you have to you a shampoo with no sulfur (no detergent) in it also, and best if you have dry hair, so you can wash it on the average on once a week to get your money's worth.
