Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day to get coiffed. When you find yourself pressed for time with a hair-raising head, there are a few things you can do to smooth the edges. No time for a shampoo? No problem! We tend to wash our hair too frequently anyway, stripping it of its natural oils. But if the greasy look isn't for you, then grab some dry shampoo. Dry shampoos simply reduce the appearance of that oily shine and give hair more volume. There are many formulas that can be found at beauty stores such as Sephora and Sally Beauty Supply, but you also can simply shake a little talcum powder onto your head, near your roots. Flip your head over and evenly distribute the powder through the roots, extending down the hair. Be sure to smooth out any visible powder. If your hair is clean and you simply don't have time to blow-dry, then pull it up in a sleek ponytail. Smooth some gel from your roots to tips and brush back. Secure with a hair tie and leave out a 1-inch section of hair on the side.
