Prevent Wrinkles Before They Happen
All you twentysomethings, listen up. And if you're older and don't have wrinkles yet, you're lucky, too. There are ways to prevent wrinkles before they even make that roadmap across your face, from crows' feet to laugh lines. There are a few dos and don'ts that will definitely do your face a favor in the future. First and foremost, don't smoke. The lip-pursing motion it takes to suck down the smoke will create fine lines around the mouth over time, and the smoke that drifts up into your face deposits toxins and dries out skin. Don't forego the sunscreen - ever. Sun damage is a major culprit of wrinkles - and more seriously, skin cancer. And while you're in the sun or outside, it's always a good idea to don some good sunglasses. Adjust the font size and brightness of your computer screen as well to avoid eyestrain and squinting.
