Sweet Banana French Toast

What can be better than french toast on banana bread? Nothing! This delectable treat can be a sweet breakfast or dessert. Any time you eat it, you are sure to savor every bite. 


Sweet Banana French Toast

Ingredients

For 4 people

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoon(s) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 banana nut loaf
  • 1 confectioners powdered sugar for dusting

Directions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla with a fork. Set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Slice banana bread into 4 thick slices. Dip each slice into the egg mixture, then place in the hot pan. Cook on each side until golden brown. Dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.
