Seven Times One Chili and Beans

This spicy homestyle chili will be ready when you get home from work, making it a very attractive, low-maintenance, weeknight dinner. Serve with cornbread for a real down home treat.


Seven Times One Chili and Beans

Ingredients

For 6 people

  • 1 pound(s) lean ground beef or fresh ground turkey breast
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 large can whole skinless tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can Bush's chili beans
  • 1 package French's chili-o powder (regular or Texas)

Directions

Brown meat in non-stick fry pan; drain. Add chopped onions and peppers; saute until translucent. Roughly chop tomatoes in blender (do not puree) to break into small chunks. Mix all ingredients into crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with your favorite chili fixings.
