Rice & Onion Soup
Rice, rice, baby! This is a “mock” casserole that requires a microwave, but is very simple to make. You'll be wishing you'd made more once you've tried it.
At a glance
- 2 cups instant rice
- 1 (15 oz.) can condensed French onion soup
- 2 (10.75 oz.) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 lb. butter, cubed
- In a 9x11 inch microwave safe dish, mix together the rice, French onion soup, mushroom soup and butter.
- Cook in microwave oven on high power for 10 minutes or until boiling. Decrease power to medium, stir and cook for 20 minutes. Serve when all liquid is absorbed.
