Creamy Tomato Soup
You say tomato, we say homemade tomato soup. When you come in from the cold, warm up with a bowl of this classic comfort food. Everybody says soup is good food. This great-tasting offering proves it. You're guaranteed to be bowled over.

2 large cans diced tomatoes 2 medium cans tomato sauce 1/2 onion diced 1/4 cup butter, unsalted 1/4 cup flour 1 can low fat cream of celery soup 2 tsp. garlic salt 3 tsp. pepper 1 bay leaf 1 tsp. basil
Mash tomatoes, set aside In large pot, fry onions and butter until tender, add flour, and stir into a paste. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and cream soup; stir together. If too thick, add some water. Add remaining spices, bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
