Meat and seafood, a winning combination. Oysters are becoming increasingly popular, and premium varieties from American coastal beds are more easily shipped than in years past, making this not only a tasty dish but trendy as well.
Ingredients
1 ribeye steak
1 big handful fresh spinach
1 strip bacon, diced
2 tbsp. diced onion
Salt and pepper, to taste
4-6 oysters, depending on size
2 oz. blue cheese crumbles
2 oz. burgundy mushroom sauce
Methods/steps
Cook steak to desired temperature. Saute spinach, bacon and onion; season with salt and pepper. Spread spinach mix on steak. Place oysters on spinach; sprinkle with blue cheese. Place in oven until cheese browns. Serve with burgundy mushroom sauce.
