Clothes Call: Get Your Kids in on the Laundry Act

Once the buzzer on the dryer goes off, round up the troops. Teach the children your preferred folding technique. The older children will have an easier time folding clothes, but that doesn't mean that your younger children can't give it the old college try. You'd be surprised at what they might be able to accomplish. Once the clothes are all folded, assist your children in carefully putting their clothes on hangers and into drawers. Over time, they'll become accustomed to the routine and some of the simpler steps will become second nature. If you're so inclined, you can offer an allowance for your child's efforts.
