Child-Rearing: Home on the Free Range

This Mom is so correct. I have always felt like my son is so sheltered from the real world. I could really use any input to slowly introduce him to being street smart. Making the right choices when faced with a situation that we missed in our many conversations. My husband and I both grew up in tough areas and learned on our own which way is up! I can tell my son and question him on how he may choose in many scenarios. But the real learning is out there, where he can be more independent. I am so afraid of him be more sheltered, and not be able to handle the real problems he will have to face. I could use any suggestions, I wont be offended........ Votes: +1
