Brady & Bundchen: Not So Engaging

They may have recently shelled out $11.7 million for a home in Brentwood, California, but GIsele Bundchen and Tom Brady aren’t engaged, despite rumors to the contrary. TMZ reported that Brady popped the question to his model girlfriend while on a plane ride from New Jersey to Boston. Supposedly, the Patriot strategically placed four dozen white roses, champagne and Bundchen's parents aboard when he popped the big question. A romantic gesture it is, but an accurate one it is not. First to deny the engagement rumors is Tom Brady's proud pop, Tom Brady Sr., who told the Boston Globe, "We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say. It's rumor, rumor, rumor. It must be a slow news day." Bundchen's twin sister told the Boston Herald that the rumor is, "not true." Guess the happy couple isn't flying high on the wings of love after all.

Jen and Ben Fuel More Rumors

Not long ago, the tabloids were screaming divorce when it came to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. This time, the Enquirer and local media in Boston – where Affleck's from – are reporting that they're not only staying together, but they're also in the family way again. The tabloid says Jen's just past her first trimester, and the couple is spreading the news among their friends. Come to think of it…Garner's shirts are looking awfully blousy these days – and the strategic placing of her current toddler helps, too. Time will tell if the couple will have another colorfully named child.

Jolie-Pitt Wonder Twins Activate!

Fraternal twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline don't know how good they've got it. The dynamic duo were born to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt this past weekend. Not only do they have two of the most beautiful people in the world as parents, but they're also going to be rich, rich, rich. Does it get any better than that? The twins are the newest addition to the budding brood, which already includes Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Shiloh. According to People, the delivery was the picture of perfection with Pitt never leaving his partner's side. "He was ... perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional," said Dr. Michel Sussmann, who delivered the babies. Their births will no doubt be lucrative for someone. Reports estimate the pics will be sold for no less than $11 million. Of course, it's all going to charity.

Sunday Diss for Scientology?

By now you must know about Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's new baby daughter. And you may have heard that little Sunday was named after an Aussie artist's muse, Sunday Reed. Kidman's father suggested the name, and it became so.
But MSNBC is reporting a different reason for naming the girl, and it could be Nicole's way of once again rebuffing Scientology, notoriously followed by her ex-husband, Tom Cruise. A source close to her says Catholicism was a big part of her life, thus Sunday was a sacred day, before she had to submit to Scientology views. The source says, "…the fact that her baby's name could be perceived as one last jab doesn't exactly upset her." The Thetans had no comment on the diss.

Winehouse Flakes Out On Mandela Photo Shoot

Amy Winehouse honored Nelson Mandela by skipping the celebrity-studded photo shoot for his concert and going to visit husband Blake Fielder-Civil in jail. While most people find it completely inappropriate that she bailed on the photo call, which included the likes of Will Smith, Leona Lewis and Annie Lennox, we see the significance. Nelson Mandela was a political prisoner, and her scumbag hubby is in the bighouse for being a loser. Despite her evil ways, the 24-year-old singer/drug addict was invited to perform at the concert. Given her bad reputation, you'd think Amy might clean up her act for this one. But no. It's obvious she had better things to do than schmooze with A-listers. The Daily Mail reports that after her prison visit, she made a pit stop and picked up mini bottles of whiskey and vodka. We're thinking one of these days Amy might get her priorities -- and her life -- straight.
