Hearty Bean Salad

This salad combines three different types of beans. Serve it with red wine. If you haven't tried it, you haven't bean living.

Ingredients

For 6 people

  • 1 1/2 cup(s) green beans
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) yellow wax beans
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) red kidney beans
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) chickpeas
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 2/3 ounce(s) oil
  • 2/3 cup(s) vinegar
  • 1 dash(es) salt
  • 1 dash(es) pepper
  • 2 teaspoon(s) granulated sugar

Directions

Combine beans, bell pepper and onion in a large bowl with a cover. Mix dressing and pour over beans. Chill overnight.
