George Michael's Award: Not in This Lifetime
Organizers of next year's Brit Awards are pulling the plug on an Outstanding Contribution to Music Award George Michael was slated to receive following yet another drug arrest -- this time for possession of cocaine and marijuana. Michael, who was popped in a public bathroom with drugs last month, is no longer being considered for the huge honor after the embarrassing episode. Said one music industry, "George was frontrunner to get the lifetime achievement award. But Brits bosses felt it would be better not to be associated with him for the time being since the Brits is a shop window for our music." If he had just said "no" drugs, he'd just be saying "yes" to the lifetime achievement award.
