The Michael Lohans, Janice Dickinsons and Gary Buseys of Hollywood will need to find a new mentor to guide them to sober living. That's because Dr. Drew Pinsky will no longer be guiding his merry band of misfits on the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab. Pinsky has been at the helm of the drama-heavy reality show for five seasons. The current cast includes Bai Ling, Amy Fisher and Michael Lohan. The former Loveline host no longer has the time for the little people now that he's landed himself a real gig on HLN. An insider tells Radaronline.com that Pinsky's schedule has become too full for his celebrity patients. Says the source, "Dr. Drew can be seen nightly on HLN's Dr. Drew Show, and this fall, he has another television project he is going to be involved with, Life Changers, which is a Telepictures show. The amount of time Dr. Drew has to commit to treating celebrities on the show is a tremendous amount of time." The insider adds that Dr. Drew wouldn't be above reviving the show when he has more time. Translation: If he loses the HLN gig, he'll be running back to VH1 for his old job. The insider maintains he would: "absolutely love to revisit doing the show again in the future when he has the time. Dr. Drew really enjoyed doing the show, even though it could be very emotionally grueling at times." Two of Dr. Drew's former patients -- Jeff Conaway and Mike Starr -- have since passed away.
