Snooki's Real-Life Battle of the Binge

Forget fist pumping! Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was more of a candidate for stomach pumping while filming the second season of her breakout hit show in Miami last spring. Although Snooki's alcohol-fueled binges are no secret, a near-death alcohol overdose has been kept under wraps for months. According to Radaronline.com, the hard-partying reality star had more than one too many during an evening out this past May. The Jersey Shore insider maintains that Snooki was so tipsy, she had to be physically taken out of a nightclub by producers of the show. Says the source, "She was so drunk that she had to be carried out of the nightclub 'Dream' by the show's producers." Snooki was supposedly taken to a local hospital where she received some sort of treatment for excessive alcohol intake. The insider adds, "Snooki was out of commission for about two days and was left in pain after undergoing the hospital treatment." Despite the dramatic evening that supposedly included a fistfight with fellow cast member Sammi Giancola, producers opted to leave the hospital visit out of the episode. Snooki's battle with the bottle hasn't slowed down in recent months. She was arrested for being drunk and disorderly, then later fined $500 and given community service.
