Etheridge's Ex a Bitter Pill to Swallow

It looks like somebody is crying over spilled milk. Although singer Melissa Etheridge tried to make everybody believe that her split from partner Tammy Lynn Michaels was amicable, that's hardly the case according to Michaels. The actress took to her blog to set the record straight and show that she's indeed a woman scorned. The 35-year-old mother-of-two is putting an end to speculation that everything was on the up and up with their split. In fact, Michaels implies that it was Etheridge's career that took precedence over their family that includes 3-year-old twins Miller Steven and Johnnie Rose. Michaels writes, "You evolved. You needed to be happy - but really you withdrew your hands from family and intimacy to pluck those strings more." Even more depressing, Michaels says that upon first hearing her ex's new album Fearless Love, it had all the shades of a break-up album. The L-Word actress continues to pour her heart out in her posting revealing, "You laughed and laughed. I heard [the song "Fearless Love"] and I got sick. 'That's your break up song with me' I said to you. You got so angry, with me, remember? And stomped off. My birthday rolled around, the holidays. And me and the twins sat right there waiting. I saw you with your new friends. You wear them so well." Etheridge and Michaels exchanged vows back in 2003, but the relationship soured this past April. Michaels is obviously still reeling from the demise of their relationship.
