Raunchy reality star Puck (aka David Rainey) barely survived a horrifying car accident over the weekend and is currently laid up in the hospital with serious injuries. The former bike messenger gained notoriety for his bad-boy behavior and taunting of his fellow housemates including AIDS activist Pedro Zamora, who later passed away from the deadly disease. The controversial Real World: San Francisco cast member was in the car with his 8-year-old son when he swerved -- allegedly, to dodge a deer -- and lost control of his vehicle. According to TMZ, the car went down an embankment and landed in a creek. Sources told TMZ that the reality star was trapped in the car, although his son got out and ran for help. Among the injuries that Puck suffered were broken bones in his feet, right hand and neck. He also fractured his sternum and clavicle. Puck's son bruised some internal organs and had serious injuries to his liver. He's been released from the hospital, but Puck remains hospitalized. The California Highway Patrol now tells TMZ that they plan to arrest Puck for DUI, driving without a license and child endangerment for driving drunk while his son was in the car.
