Montel Cries Poormouth

If there was a show on poor little rich kids, Montel Williams wouldn't be hosting it -- he'd be starring in it. The talk show host is embroiled in a nasty custody dispute with ex-wife Grace over his two children -- 16-year-old Montel Jr. and 15-year-old Wyntergrace. It appears Montel has fallen upon hard times. He told a judge that he can't even afford to fork over $7,500 for his children's' lawyer fees because his radio show went belly up. The bigger question would be just how much he paid the limo driver who brought him to the court hearing where he was complaining about being in dire straits. His attorney Harry Nicolay told the court, "Mr. Williams' financial situation is extremely perilous." Maybe his recent partnership with Money Mutual will help foot the bill. The children admitted that while their dad does contribute a whopping $18,700 a month in child support, they barely know him. Their attorney told the judge, "One can only imagine what it's like for these children to be in a war for two thirds of their lives." We've got 18,000 reasons they should be able to adjust. That can surely pay for a whole lot of therapy. According to Radaronline.com, the kids want daddy dearest to become more involved in their lives or get out -- and stay out -- so that mom Grace can make the big decisions in their lives. Either way, they want him on the hook for their legal fees.
