Dancing Curse Cuts Deep

Dancing with the Stars will kick off its season this week, but the drama has already begun. First, Nancy O'Dell's stint on the show was over before it even started when she suffered a torn meniscus in her knee. Partner Tony Dovolani picked up with model Kathy Ireland, who took a trip to the ER last week with a cut sustained while surfing. Former House Republican Whip Tom DeLay, who's said to be the worst dancer on the show, twittered that he'd suffered a pre-stress fracture in his foot last week. Now rapper Mya, considered a frontrunner, is tweeting about her injury. She cut her hand badly on some broken glass and required stitches. Neither her injury, DeLay's or Ireland's is expected to have an impact on their dancing performances. But one has to wonder, with all the past and present injuries on the show, if there really is a Dancing curse.
