Christian: Bale Thin Again

No one denies the fact that Christian Bale will suffer for his craft -- or that his coworkers will suffer while he carries out said craft. But for his most recent role, Bale is trying out a new look -- heroin chic. He'll portray boxer/trainer/drug addict Dickie Eklund in his upcoming film, The Fighter, and his physique will be a far cry from beefy Bruce Wayne. This isn't the first time the actor's become scary-thin for a role -- he famously lost 63 pounds in 2004 to prepare for The Machinist, then bulked back up for Batman Begins the following year. He's back on the slimming diet -- and obviously the hair-thinning diet, too -- for this role. Sounds like a job he can really sink his teeth into...
