Bad boy Bobby Brown must have a guardian angel. The New Edition singer won't have to do any hard time for his DUI arrest last month. According to RadarOnline.com, 43-year-old Brown was sentenced to a 90-day alcohol program with 36 months of probation. Brown was arrested on March 26 after being pulled over for chit-chatting on his cell phone, which is illegal in California. Unfortunately for the "Roni" singer, police noticed he reeked of booze. Brown's blood alcohol level was a .12 and he was taken in for driving under the influence. Had Brown been sentenced for his most recent arrest, it wouldn't be his first stint behind bars. Back in 1996, he served time after leading police on a high-speed chase where he totaled his wife's car. He was arrested for resisting arrest and public urination. Brown showed up drunk to serve his five-day jail sentence and was given a 90-day jail sentence which ended up being suspended. Brown later violated the terms of his parole after traces of cocaine were found in a drug test. He ended up serving 75 days for that screw-up. Somehow the rowdy R & B singer managed to dodge a bullet this time around. The "Don't Be Cruel" singer accepted a plea deal, which means he won't do any jail time at all -- provided he stays out of trouble for the next three years.
