Gary Busey in the Poorhouse

Veteran actor and recovering addict Gary Busey is going for broke. Despite appearing in more than 70 films, the 67-year-old Celebrity Rehab star has less than $50,000 in his bank. More telling than what Busey does have is what he doesn't have -- and that's the million dollars he needs to pay off his slew of debts. According to TMZ, Busey is more poorhouse than palatial estate with less than $50,000 in assets. The next chapter in Busey's troubled life is Chapter 7. The debt he has accrued is anywhere between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Apparently, Busey's in it to lawyers, hospitals, credit card companies and storage companies. Even the L.A. County Waterworks Districts is in line to collect from the Piranha 3DD actor. Although his financial situation may seem bleak, Busey's money woes are nothing new. Busey's rep tells TMZ, "Gary's filing is the final chapter in a process that began a few years ago of jettisoning the litter of past unfortunate choices, associations, circumstances and events." Maybe the former Celebrity Apprentice star can score a loan from The Donald.
