Giuliana Rancic's Surgery a Success

E! host and reality star Giuliana Rancic is recovering and doing well following her double mastectomy. The 37-year-old opted for the radical surgery after doctors were unable to get rid of her breast cancer. Following the surgery, husband Bill Rancic Tweeted about her condition, "G is doing really well. Her surgery lasted about four hours and the doctors were very pleased with the result." He added that despite some discomfort the television personality was in good spirits and staying optimistic, "She had a little bit of pain through the night but is feeling much better this morning and was cracking jokes." It was just three months ago that Rancic received the devastating diagnosis. At the end of the day, Rancic realized that her best shot at survival was having both breasts removed. She recently told People, "My breasts have never defined me - and now they never will."
