Jesse James Is a Single Man

Hollywood bad boy Jesse James is back on the market. He and fiancee Kat Von D have called it quits just six months after getting engaged. The couple has been plagued by break-up rumors in recent months, but repeatedly denied that there was trouble in paradise. Recently, the couple reaffirmed their plans to make their union permanent. However, 'twas not to be. The LA Ink star made the announcement in black and white when she Tweeted, "I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that." One witness was shocked by the sudden turn of events, having just seen the tattoo-covered couple together. A source tells Radaronline.com, "I just saw them a couple nights ago together in Hollywood at The Counter and they seemed really happy. It's surprising that they broke up." Um...about as surprising as the couple getting engaged hot on the heels of James' divorce from wife Sandra Bullock. Von D did send the biker's daughter a message, saying "kisses to both of you!!!" More than anything, it sounds like it was geography that became a problem for the couple. James currently resides in Austin, Texas, with his three children, while Von D films her reality show in Los Angeles. Apparently, absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder after all. James tells People: "I'm so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much."
