Roger Ebert is hardly getting rave reviews for his remarks about the tragic death of Jackass star Ryan Dunn. Immediately following news that the 34-year-old died in in a fiery crash after a night out, the famed film critic Tweeted, "'Jackass' star Ryan Dunn, RIP. His Porsche flew through 40 yards of tree." He followed up with a major dig at the deceased stuntman saying, "Friends don't let Jackasses drink and drive." For the inconsolable friends and family of Dunn, the remarks hit way too close to home, especially for Dunn's co-star and best friend Bam Margera. Margera Tweeted a response back to Ebert, saying, "I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of s**t roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents about a jackass drunk driving and his is one, f**k you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat f**king mouth!" One person to jump on the anti-Ebert bandwagon was former meanie Perez Hilton, who prides himself in being a born-again nice guy. He condemned Ebert saying, "Everyone makes mistake, and this is somebody's son. Too soon, Roger." Ebert quickly responded with the Tweet, "Perez Hilton's readers agree with me and not with Perez about my tweet on Ryan Dunn," Ebert wrote in response. "He drank, he drove, 2 people died." According to eyewitnesses, Dunn consumed at least three beers and three shots prior to the accident. In other crash-related news, police have released the identity of Dunn's passenger. Radaronline.com is reporting that the victim was 30-year-old Zachary Hartwell, a production assistant and friend of Dunn's. He was one of the men pictured in the last photo Tweeted by Dunn hours before the devastating accident.
